THE ISSUE
It is critically important that elected officials make themselves available to the public in order for constituents to ask them questions and voice concerns about issues that matter to everyday people. Representative Zach Nunn (R - Iowa 3rd Congressional District) has never held a public town hall gathering during his time in Congress. We believe that is unacceptable.
Do you think that Representative Nunn should make himself available by scheduling a public town hall meeting? If so, please sign the petition indicating your support.
THE PETITION
Dear Representative Zach Nunn,
Your constituents want to meet with you!
Iowans from across your district are urging you to hold a public town hall so they can share issues most important to them. A town hall is a good way for you to connect with your constituents and for you to learn about what matters to everyday Iowans. Additionally, town halls are beneficial to constituents who attend allowing them to have the opportunity to understand your positions on important issues.
Will you schedule and hold a town hall meeting that is open to the public during the April recess (April 11 - 27)?
Signed,
[3rd Congressional District constituent names listed]
