Mission 44 in partnership with
The Centre for Young Lives are delighted to be holding a series of events to support schools and their partners to be ambitious about inclusion.
These events will bring together teachers and staff, Trusts, local authorities, policymakers, funders, community organisations and young people, to explore what practical action can be taken to reduce lost learning and share best practice.
We have already held events in London, Leeds, Bristol, Manchester and Portsmouth. Our upcoming locations and dates are:
Maidstone, 10th December 2025
Newcastle, 4th February 2026
Birmingham, 18th March 2026
Hosted in community and school venues that are embedded in the local area, with speakers from regional leadership and leading schools, these events will explore what works to deliver inclusion and support all children to stay in school and stay learning – as well as helping to troubleshoot problems where there are barriers to progress. Focussed on practical strategies and solutions to local issues, these events will help decision makers and practitioners build attendance, reduce suspensions and exclusions, and support all children to progress in school.
