Great Girl Scout Bake-Off, Hot Air Balloon Edition: Let Your Dream Take Flight
Cadettes from Troop 61056 is hosting the “Great Girl Scout Bake-off.” This is a fundraising event. The cost is $7 per Girl Scout or Leader and it includes a fun patch. Event is open to all registered D/B/J/C/S/A & LEADERS. This event will be on Saturday, May 11th.

Registration: Please register via Google form, and then pay via Venmo @Sammi-Stewart-1 or mail/drop off (plastic bin on porch) check to Girl Scout Troop 61056, 1931 Rowland Ave, Camarillo, CA 93010.

This year we are having 1 competition, which is the “Creative Cake Decorating Competition”. The theme for the Creative Cake Decorating Competition is ONLY 1 entry per person. Each Girl Scout/Leader must make their own cake for the contest.

All entries will need to be delivered to the event location (Hiji Rose Garden - 3100 Bridgehampton Way, Camarillo) between 10:00 am on Saturday, May 11th . Judging will begin at 10:15 am. An awards ceremony will be held immediately upon completion of judging. Everyone will go home a winner.

THEME: Let Your Dream Take Flight


The judges will be looking for the following:

No cake will be cut, decorations only judged.

 Entry must represent the theme. Use
your imagination.
 Design and materials used are entrant’s
 Cake must be baked by a Girl Scout.
 Cakes may not be store-bought.
 Cake mixes and canned frosting may be
 Girls must decorate the cake on her own.
 Only edible decorations can be used.
 Bring your cake on a disposable serving
tray which could be a piece of cardboard
covered with aluminum foil.
 The cake footprint may not be larger
than 9" x 13".
