Welcome to the registration and waiver for the Rainbow Routes Association - Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury - Climate Café and Forest Wellness Walk event for Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Share your feelings about the climate crisis in a safe space, and then ground in nature, with a guided forest wellness walk.
Event Details:
When: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Meet: Nature Chalet, Lake Laurentian Conservation Area
Parking: Free parking available
Dress: Layer for the weather, consider waterproof shoes or boots if it is wet, warm hat or scarf and water bottle
Difficulty: Easy
Leader: Madison Cooper (climate café ), Daniela Stuewer (forest wellness walk)
Schedule:
-1:00 - 2:30 p.m.: Climate Café. Share your feelings about the climate crisis in a safe forum. Madison Cooper (EarthCare, City of Greater Sudbury) will guide the discussion. Madison has professional and practical experience in leading conversations to share feelings about climate change.
Snacks will be provided.
-2:30 - 4:00 p.m.: Forest Wellness Walk. Take time to slow down, notice details, and connect with the forest in ways that nourish us - body, mind and spirit. Led by Daniela Stuewer (Conservation Sudbury). Daniela is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide
There is no fee to attend.
Important Information:
Pre-registration is required to participate as capacity is limited. This also ensures that you receive all last-minute notifications, including weather-related cancellations or any changes to the event plan. Note that you will receive a confirmation email the day before the hike.
Please email clsudbury@live.com by the day before if you are cancelling, so that someone else can take your place.
Our hikes are designed to accommodate participants capable of walking on outdoor trails. Look out for organizers in RRA dark blue vests at the event for any assistance or questions you may have.
