Climate change is a looming threat to New Haven and the entire world, and without immediate action, its effects will be disastrous to our generation and future generations.

In the summer of 2021, the city of New Haven received $90 million in relief funds from the Federal Government as part of the "American Rescue Plan". The New Haven Climate Movement and the people of New Haven demand that the city invest $9 MILLION OF THIS FUND TOWARDS CLIMATE SOLUTIONS through the NEW HAVEN RESCUE PLAN. These solutions can include climate projects that create green jobs, improve public health and transportation, support clean energy and electrification, and make our neighborhoods and families healthier.
