Journal of Engineering Education Reviewer Interest
The peer review process is how we, as authors, can vet and enhance our ideas, research designs, and findings, as well as how we can improve how we communicate all those elements to our community. We rely on the feedback and expertise from many members of the community to perform this function, and we appreciate the time and energy they contribute to this important task toward the benefit of our community. Serving as a reviewer not only is an important activity within our profession, but it is also an opportunity to continue to build skillsets around how one gives and receives feedback and understands the research process. Indeed, we hope reviewers gain many new insights about engineering education research while they provide constructive feedback to authors and see how others reviewers provided feedback on the same manuscript--this whole process should be a multi-way learning street between authors and the full review team.

However, we recognize at JEE that it can often be challenging to let our editorial board members know that you're interested in becoming a reviewer, in particular for graduate students late in their program, postdocs, new faculty members, or individuals who are relatively new to engineering education. This form is intended to help put you on the editorial board's radar screen as we continue building out JEE's reviewer data base. When we receive manuscripts aligned with your expertise and interests, we hope this form will be that new mechanism to connect to you.
