Camp is a fantastic week for members, but as volunteers we simply cannot run it without your help.  Parents are expected to make a minimum of three offers of help – one being an overnight - for us to function. From this we will compile a rota for the week.  You may not be chosen for all of the duties, mums, dads, grandparents all accepted, and parents of boys need to commit a male relative for one night duty. 

Duties include:

• Mess Tent - we cater in house and parents will need to provide ingredients for supper as well as biscuits and cakes.  We need people to help serve, clear up and make drinks at both lunch and supper.

• OVERNIGHT SUPERVISION - a minimum of three parents, two female and one male, stay overnight 9pm onwards to carry out regular patrols of the site allowing our day volunteers to get some well-earned rest. This duty ties in well with breakfast duty the following day. Parents volunteering for overnight role are required to hold or undergo a current DBS check.  You will receive a full briefing before camp starts on what your responsibilities will be for this duty.  We ask that as many parents as possible volunteer for this.  If not, we will draw names out of a hat.  DAD'S OF BOYS NEED TO SIGN UP PLEASE! 

• CLEARING UP and packing away the site on Tuesday 6th August. Returning equipment such as tables and chairs back to Upper House Farm. Many hands make light work at the end of a long week we appreciate every little bit of extra help here!
