Ta'amim Tovim: Developing an Ethical Food Statement
We're excited you're going to join us as part of the inaugural 6-month cohort of Ta'amim Tovim (The good taste), that allows for peer learning and the exchange of ideas, with exposure to local and national resources. Monthly meetups (November 2018-May 2019, location TBD) will provide exposure to the variety of impacts and implications of institutional food choices. Facilitated by Beantown Jewish Gardens, each institution will also have an individual consultation with the Jewish Initiative for Animals (JIFA). Between sessions will include readings and opportunities for conversations, interviews, and investigative work. Upon completion, each institution will produce a proposal for their institutional review. Potential opportunity to apply for a mini-grant at completion of cohort. If you have any questions, please be in touch with Leora@beantownjewishgardens.org
