DATE & LOCATIONThis year's event will be held on SATURDAY, JULY 20 on the same site as last year (Grannan Lane and Canterbury Street) in the heart of Uptown Saint John. The event will go from 6PM to 1AM.
VENDOR TYPESMoonlight Bazaar is looking for local vendors in the following categories:- Food and beverages- Local arts and crafts- Locally made clothing and accessories- Mystic vendors (tarot cards, energy healing, fortune telling, etc.)
(We will reserve a small number of spaces for other types of vendors and will decide on a case by case basis.)
APPLICATION TIMELINE & PAYMENT TERMS- First round of vendor applications is opens WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24 and closes TUESDAY, MAY 7.- Vendors will be selected and notified on FRIDAY, MAY 10.- Vendors will have until MAY 17 to pay the vendor fee to confirm their spot for Moonlight Bazaar. - Vendor fees will only be accepted through our Eventbrite page.- The vendor fee is $100CAD + TAX for a 10x10 space.- No refunds for no-shows.- No refunds for cancellations after JULY 6.- Any vendors who aren't selected on the in the first round will be placed on a waitlist.- Vendors are welcome to apply after the first round of applications closes and will be placed on the waitlist.- Waitlist vendors will be contacted towards the end of May. - Vendors will be selected based on the needs of the event and keeping the vendor types diverse.
SPACE DETAILS- All vendor placement is made by the Moonlight Bazaar organizing team. We will do our best to accommodate all needs.- Vendors will be provided with one, 10x10 space.- Each vendor space will be provided with power access to accommodate the use of a basic light. Moonlight Bazaar does not provide extension cords, lights, tables, chairs, or tents.- Space sharing is not permitted unless otherwise indicated by the Moonlight Bazaar team. - Moonlight Bazaar is not accepting food trucks or trailers this year. - Food vendors will be required to have a Food Handling License provided by the Department of Health and Safety.
LOAD-IN DETAILS- Vendors will receive an email the week of the event with a site map indicating their location.- Vendors will be required to load-in from 3PM to 5PM on the day of the event. - A Moonlight representative will be onsite to help coordinate your load-in.- There will be no parking of vehicles on the Moonlight site. Please prearrange parking in other locations uptown after the load-in.
