Tensorflow Application
"""
We received over 200 applications and we are only allowed to take 20 students, so we had to close the application early. If you are still interested, you can fill out the form (briefly, I don't want you to waste your time), and you can audit/follow the lectures online without receiving credit. Thank you!

Winter Quarter 2017 (i.e., next quarter)
Time: WF 3.30-4.20pm (tentatively)
2 units
Deadline: 5pm Friday, January 6th, 2017 (We might have to close the application earlier if there is an overwhelming interest, so the earlier you apply, the better.)

This course will cover the fundamentals and contemporary usage of the Tensorflow library for deep learning research. Through the course, students will use Tensorflow to build models of different complexity, from simple linear/logistic regression to convolutional neural network and recurrent neural networks with LSTM to solve tasks such as word embeddings, translation, optical character recognition. Students will also learn best practices to structure a model and manage research experiments.

Prerequisites: basic understanding of neural networks

Briefly explain why you want to take this course *
Will you be enrolled in CS 224N in the winter quarter 2017? *
This won't affect the outcome of your application. We want to know how many students are in CS 224N the same quarter so we can plan the lectures that are related to CS 224N.
List all deep learning libraries you've used *
It's okay if you've never used any of them, just check "None"
Required
Tell us about other experiences you've had with machine learning and deep learning (courses, projects, jobs, internships, etc.) *
What operating system are you using? *
Tensorflow is now available in Windows so you can still take the class if you use Windows. We just want to know so we can prepare the instructions.
Required
Will you be comfortable using Python for the course? *
