For over five years, the European Cargo Bike Survey for Operators has been organised. As far as we know, this is one of Europe's only sources of information for the cycle-logistics sector. It therefore provides crucial and valuable information on the state of the industry, its trends and its challenges. The survey aims to collect employment and growth figures within the sector, information regarding fleets, and crucial accident and safety data. Companies running cycle logistics operations are encouraged to fill out the survey questions below which will help the cycling industry track and measure the progress of this sector.
For 2024, Cycling Industries Europe, the German Cycle Logistics Federation (RLDV), the French Cycle Logistics Federation (Les Boîtes à Vélo), the Belgian Cycle Logistics Federation (BCLF) and the Bicycle Association of the UK (home to the UK Cycle Logistics Federation) have collaborated to put together the below questions.
As we intend for this survey to be completed on a per country basis so as to avoid double counting we kindly request that for companies from France, Germany or Belgium to complete the specific country survey below:
The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete, and all responses are anonymous. We trust that those completing the survey provide information that is as correct as feasibly possible.
