Midwest Craft Con Speaker Proposal 2020
Thanks so much in your interest in presenting at Midwest Craft Con, a conference for craft business owners and creative entrepreneurs happening February 28- March 1, 2020, in Columbus, Ohio. Our keynote speakers for 2020 are Twinkie Chan and Sara Trail. We're looking to the creative community to find new speakers to share their expertise. Please fill out the form below with your specific pitch for a session by July 28th to be considered for Midwest Craft Con 2020.

You can see last year's full class schedule here: https://midwestcraftcon.com/2018-schedule/.
Breakout sessions are 1.5 hours in length, including a Q&A time. We love hearing pitches regarding marketing, business, finances, legalities, work-life balance, ideation, creativity and other craft business issues.

If you are interested in offering a hands on workshops please use this form: https://forms.gle/8wxFJDDHAD6qtsZ9A

Invited speakers will receive an honorarium, hotel stay and admission to the three-day conference with some additional surprises.

We aren't able to extend invitations to everyone who submits ideas, but we hope you will plan to join us in 2020 no matter what! We will be in touch later in the fall either way.

Your answer
What would you like to talk about at Midwest Craft Con? *
Give us a one- or two-sentence description of a class you'd like to teach. Feel free to suggest multiple ideas! Note: Giving more context or describing a unique angle will help us make our decisions. Instead of a general topic like "marketing for craft businesses," we're more interested in something like "Social media marketing in just 60 minutes per week for people who'd rather be in the studio."
Your answer
Would you be willing to speak on a panel as well? *
We hope to include all of our speakers on panels discussing big-picture issues in the craft industry.
Who else should we invite to present at Midwest Craft Con?
This could be a local friend or a dream speaker!
