Please find below the Exhibition Requirements:

Entry Deadline: All applications must be submitted by midnight
February 21, 2020

Open to artists at least 18 years old. Entry form must be filled out completely. Failure to follow instructions may result in the nullification of your entry. Only original artwork accepted.

Submission: You can submit your entry online by email to Ana Barbosa at hialeahevents@gmail.com

Theme: Art that celebrates Black and Women's History.
-You will need to email and image of your entry in the follow jpeg format:
Last name_First Name_Title

Size: One work of art no smaller than 24 x 36 and maximum size 36 x 48 * Large submissions will be evaluated accordingly and case by case.

Framing: We require unframed canvas to be museum wrapped with painted edges

All framed pieces should be wired. Wire should be securely attached on the back of the frame.

Once you have received the acceptance notification via email, you will receive the Artist Agreement for signing.
The agreement must be signed prior to exhibit.

Hand delivered artwork: February 11 through February 21, 9:30 to 12 and from 2:30 to 5p.m.

Opening Reception: March 5, 2020 at 7 p.m.

Pick up deadline: April 6 through April 20 from 9:30 to 12 and from 2:30 to 5p.m.

Any artist that leaves art 7 days after the pickup deadline will be charged $5 per day for storage.
