LB Creative Jam 2026

After the surprising success of last year, we want to celebrate our local creatives and stimulate some new creative collaborations again in 2026 during Buzz Cinema Film Festival this May!

If you weren't around, have a glimpse of last year final event https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/sg13wjt2s5c9fx2fk2l0i/AB0Xw-O9bVj8DDNmNL4K1XA?rlkey=7ng6zhs3ieh6qu7t6wka2apnx&e=1&st=0s4b2em7&dl=0 it was really fun!

The event is a collaboration between Leighton Buzzard Art Society and Buzz Cinema - and we need your help to make it successful.

Here's how it works: You'll be paired with another local creative to collaborate on a piece of art together. Think videographer filming an artist painting, painter creating a portrait of a musician, a barista making swirl art in epoxy resin or any form of joint imaginative output - we want to create unexpected creative connections within our vibrant community and stimulate new connections.

Your commitment:  All we ask is that you meet your collaborative partner to introduce yourselves and your skills and start the process of deciding what you'll create together over the next two month and attend our final show in the first or second week of May during the Buzz Cinema festival weeks (8-17th May)!

Whilst you will probably find your own pace of interacting, we will also arrange some ‘all-hands’ meetups along the way to provide support if needed and to connect with other creatives involved in the challenge.

Open to all skill levels - beginners to professionals. Everyone brings their own experience and skills to create something new together.
