Ball’s Bluff Elementary PTA Call for Nominations for 2024-2025 PTA Executive Board & Chairs

Dear BBES Families and Staff,

It’s that time of year again! We are seeking nominations for the 2024-2025 PTA Executive Board and PTA Chairs. The following positions are available:

  • President: Liaison to Principal, lead meetings & create agendas, oversee board, POC for Hunt District PTA, etc.

  • VP, Programs (educational school programs): Assemblies & events to enrich education, main POC for family/free programs, etc.

  • VP, Ways & Means (fundraising efforts): Main contact for fundraising, help set yearly budget, etc.

  • Secretary: Create meeting agendas, record PTA meeting events/discussions and post to PTA website, etc.

  • Communications Director: Newsletters and updates to principal, PTA website, social media updates, volunteer sign ups, etc.

  • Committee Chair (Sunshine Committee, Spirit Wear, etc.)

*NOTE: Per the Ball’s Bluff Elementary PTA Bylaws, a board member term is for one year, with the option to continue in the same position for a second year.  Board descriptions and our Bylaws can be found on https://www.ballsbluffpta.com/pta-documents .

This year's nominating committee includes: Vivi Cassella, Conrad Linden, Rachel Wallace, Ashley Lutz, & Lia Hobel.
