Eligibility: Indian citizenship, and Age 18+, and Currently enrolled in an Indian University for BSc/BE/MSc degree in Science, or passed such University degree from any University in the past. No maximum age limit. Your ability to communicate in English and install SAO ds9 in your Computer to analyse astronomical FITS image data is mandatory.

Rational: In synergy with policy and activities of the Govt of India (New Education Policy 2020, New Science Technology and Innovation policy (DST), Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Govt of India) University Faculty Association (UFA) promotes the growth of nationwide, Inter-University, Citizen Science Research and is hosting this Workshop. In the past 9 years this astronomy workshop have been hosted by numerous Research and Education Institutes, all over India (IITs, IISERs, ICTS-TIFR, IoP, HRI, IISc, UM-DAE CEBS, NISER, DAE-DST-NCSM Vigyan Samagam, DST-Vigyan Prasar, Nehru Planetarium (NMML, Delhi), DST (Govt of Odisha & Rajasthan) etc. ). Participants will be charged a nominal Registration fee of Rs 1000/- (only). Registered participants will have access to Live lectures on black hole galaxy coevolution (for 4 weekends of a month) & Interactive 1-on-1 training session on a mutually-agreed weekend virtual meeting. The 1-on-1 sessions can continue for a few months more, depending on the number of participants, and access to recorded lectures will be for 2 months. On successful completion the participants will receive a certificate and be admitted as i-astronomers in the internationally-acclaimed RAD@home Astronomy Collaboratory. International Astronomical UnionLaunched in 2013, #RADatHomeIndia is the first and still the only Indian Citizen Science research collaboration in astronomy which uses any Indian telescope.
