Welcome to FIGMENT NYC 2023!

FIGMENT Weekend is a free participatory-arts event that is 100% volunteer-powered. For more than a decade we have hosted interactive work that encourages participants to play, dance, sing, create, engage, experiment, and explore.

FIGMENT seeks to create social environments that are unmediated by commercial sponsorships, transactions, or advertising. We will not substitute consumption for experience.
FIGMENT will not charge you to participate in this event. We seek to host a transformative event unmediated by commerce.
Decommodification is only one of our core principles: https://www.figmentproject.org/figment_11_principles

We are starting our open call late this year so please fill out this form as soon as you can. We will give priority placement to those who fill out this form first.

If you have questions about how to make your practice interactive or already know you would like to bring an interactive project to the FIGMENT NYC 23 Weekend fill out the form below and you will be contacted by an artist liaison (curator) who will respond to your questions and help you on your journey toward joining the FIGNYC23 Artist Community.

I can't wait to interact with you,

Jacquie Jordan Marynowski
FIGMENT NYC Producer for 2023
