Skills Link 2026 Registration Form Session 2
Tech Frontier recognizes the urgent need to equip individuals with the cutting-edge digital and technological competencies required to thrive in this new landscape. The Skills Link Series is proposed as a dynamic, accessible, and high-impact training initiative designed to bridge the growing skills gap. Leveraging our proven model of hands-on, just-in-time learning, this series will deliver critical instruction in four high-demand areas for the El Paso region in Advanced Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Data Science. 

This registration form is for the Skills Link Session scheduled for Saturday February 28, 2026 from 10AM - 2PM Mountain Time. The topic of the workshop is an Introduction to Digital Twins with Tinkercad. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The first 30 registered participants who successfully complete the workshop will receive a $40 Visa gift card. You will need a LinkedIn profile to receive certification. If you do not have one, please create a profile prior to the session.

Topics Covered

  • Introduction to the Tinkercad interface and basic 3D modeling tools

  • Hands-on demonstrations of core modeling techniques, including:

    • Adding, resizing, and grouping 3D shapes

    • Creating patterns through duplication

    • Using intersections, splitting, and slicing for more complex geometry

  • Group design challenge applying Tinkercad skills to a real project
