Please use this form to submit any nominations for the 1st Annual Grow & Thrive: KIPP DC’s Professional Engagement Symposium experience.    Grow & Thrive: KIPP DC’s Professional Engagement Symposium is a unique chance for second year corps members and alumni to preview KIPP DC and grow their skillset as an educator. We’re bringing together dynamic teachers from across the country to network, learn, and explore teaching in the District of Columbia.  Starting the evening of March 9 to March 11, current teachers, who have been hand-selected for this unique opportunity, will have the chance to:
• visit KIPP DC schools & classrooms
• collaborate & share best practices with other leading educators
• engage with KIPP DC senior leaders
• connect with current staff & teachers
• participate in professional development seminars
• discuss current issues in education & build upon the important work they’re already doing

To be considered for this weekend teachers will submit a brief application. KIPP DC will cover travel to and lodging in Washington, D.C. for those selected to attend.

Your nomination will receive a special invitation to be considered for this unique opportunity filled with networking, professional development, collaboration opportunities, and awesome KIPPsters.

To be considered, nominees must have at least 18 months of Lead Teacher experience, be mission-oriented/aligned, and have a desire to blossom into the most effective educator for kids.  Please submit all nominations by 5pm on Sunday, February 12, 2017.  Thank you in advance for your time and thoughtful nominations!
