That’s why we launched The McGuffin Grant. Awarded once a year to a 501(c)(3) working to help people or the planet, The McGuffin Grant provides recipients with $25,000 worth of creative strategies and design solutions that help you communicate more persuasively, more purposefully and more powerfully.
For that reason, we encourage (demand, actually) the participation of all your stakeholders. We think engaging everyone on your team up front is the best way to uncover those “a-ha” insights that inform the best communications.
In the end, what you receive as a McGuffin Grant recipient is more than just carefully conceived and beautifully designed visual communications. We leave you with a reinvigorated brand, and equip you with the know-how to make the most of it long after we’re gone.
In a nutshell, we’re accomplished visual communicators and brand builders. It’s what we do at McGuffin every day — and what we’ve done for the last 15 years — for clients both large and small, profit and not-for-profit, in a wide variety of industries.
If so, you might be a good fit. You see, our goal with The McGuffin Grant is not just to do free work, it’s to do good work. Work we’re proud of and you’re delighted with. Work that gets you noticed, and gets results.
The McGuffin Grant doesn’t cover printing costs, although we’ll work with you to make sure the materials we produce fit your budget. Plus, we’ll introduce you to some very nice, and very cooperative, print vendors.
Likewise, the grant doesn’t cover the cost of all web development. We’ll handle the architecture and design then provide scope and resources for anything that is outside our internal capabilities.
2. The review process will last approximately three weeks after the deadline. Applicants may be requested for an informal interview before a decision is made.
3. Finalist will be notified in early May.
