Near-Surface Geophysics Announcements for EEGS FastTIMES

FastTIMES is the near-surface geophysics magazine of the Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society (EEGS). EEGS members can use this form to submit professional news and notes, such as job promotions, job changes, awards, retirement, relocations, etc. 

This will be a new section in FastTIMES, launching in the June 2026 issue.

Deadline: April 29, 2026, for inclusion in the June 2026 FastTIMES issue. 

Professional Announcements Guidelines:

  • Limit your note to 350 characters including spaces.
  • Write your note in the first person, in an informal but professional tone.
  • Include your preferred contact email so readers can follow up with you.
  • Should be submitted by the individual they are about.
  • Should reflect news from within the last 12 months.
  • EEGS/FastTIMES may edit entries for length or content.
  • Announcements cannot be used for commercial advertising or marketing.
