Lancer Dancers Pre-tryout Clinic 2023-Part 2

The Shawnee Mission East Lancer Dancers are offering a pre-tryout clinic for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. High School students who are not currently on a Lancer Dancer squad but are interested in trying out are also welcome. This clinic will offer dancers the chance to be taught by current team members on skills and techniques that will help them prepare for tryouts.

CLINIC DATE: Monday, April 10th from 1:00-3:00 PM in the SME Dance Room.

Participants will learn about the technique and jazz portions of our tryouts. They will practice the skills required in the technique portion of the tryout. They will also learn a jazz combination similar to what will be required at our tryouts. We recommend wearing dance clothes and jazz shoes. Please also bring a water bottle.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

COST: $15 - cash, check, or venmo accepted. Please bring cash or check with you the day of the clinic or Venmo @smelancerdancers. Please make checks payable to SME Lancer Dancer Booster Club. Please put your dancer's name in the memo/notes for checks and venmo payments. Thanks!

All clinics are fundraisers for our team to benefit our Lancer Dancers Booster Club. Thank you for helping us with our team expenses!
