Open Enrollment
If your student does not live in the Burlington Area School District, you will also need to apply for Open Enrollment with the Department of Public Instruction.

Parents/Guardians must submit application forms, either online or to the non-resident district, from February 2, 2026 - April 30, 2026 (per 2019 Wisconsin Act 185) at 4 pm.  Late applications will not be accepted. For further information concerning Open Enrollment or to access the online application, visit the Department of Public Instruction Open Enrollment website.
