AIM
As a Legal Aid Clinic, it is our duty to come forward and talk about this topic and spread awareness in the students to protect children from Child Labour and can alert other stakeholders also.

ABOUT SESSION
The said seminar is divided into two sessions. The First Session is on Role of NGOs to Prevent and Prohibit Child Labour in India and the Second Session is on Legislative Policies and Schemes Against Child Labour which will be addressed by our eminent speakers.

ABOUT CHIEF GUEST & KEY NOTE SPEAKER
Legal Aid Clinic is glad to notify about their Chief Guest & Key Note Speaker for the sessions Ms. Rosy Taba Gongo, Member, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights. She is a practicing advocate at Guwahati High Court. She is appointed as the first member of NCPCR for ‘Elimination of Child Labour or Children in Distress’ from Northeast. She is a former member of the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for women. She also worked as State project coordinator at Ministry of Law and Justice, Govt. of India.

ABOUT SPEAKERS
In the First Session Legal Aid Clinic has invited one of the eminent personality Ms. Indu Rani Singh, Special Director from Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre (JAC) Society, Rajasthan to enlighten the audience with her knowledge related to the topic- Role of NGOs to Prevent and Prohibit Child Labour in India.
In the Second Session we have invited one of an eminent speaker Adv. Mudit Singhvi, Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur Bench to share his words with the audience on Legislative Policies and Schemes Against Child Labour.

About Legal Aid Clinic
The Legal Aid Clinic, JECRC University was established in 2017 by the students of the Faculty of Law, JECRC University for the advancement of justice in rural areas with combined efforts of Faculty In-Charge and Members of Legal Aid Clinic.
Legal Aid Clinic aims to bridge the gap between socio-economic backward people and access to the justice system by providing free legal aid to the poor and weaker sections of the society because access to justice is the biggest and most intrinsic problem faced by the downtrodden sections of the society.
The Legal Aid Members work towards imparting practical knowledge and information regarding the basic legal rights and remedies to the masses and undertakes social awareness program under its aegis.
Since its establishment in 2017, The Legal Aid Clinic, JECRC University has taken up various Legal Awareness Programs like Legal Aid Camp for village people, Seminars, Webinars, and many more events at various levels i.e. District, State, and National level programs. The aforesaid activities are done as per the requirements of Legal Education.
The Legal Aid Clinic inducts students to use their knowledge of the law to provide free legal aid to those who are most in need of it.
About Session
The said event is divided into two sessions. In the first session Legal Aid Clinic will be inviting one of the representative from different-different NGO’s and in the 2nd Session Legal Aid Clinic will be inviting International Labour Organization (ILO), Government Authorities & Police Authorities who are working in this filed to share their views about their working, policy, programs, problems which they are facing, how one can contact them & contribute in reducing Child Labour and suggest the changes which are required in the law (loopholes), as better become best when the expert is there to share their knowledge.
