With this survey we hope to develop a better understanding of potential partnership opportunities between mariculture operators, or “farmers”, researchers, and resource managers who work in coastal and marine systems. We hope to be able to identify what barriers might exist to potential partnerships and how farmers might best be compensated for their time and efforts when they partner with scientists or managers.
We greatly appreciate any insights you are willing to share and commit to not sharing any information that can be attributed to you specifically and instead we will be generating summaries about responses. In the event we do quote a specific perspective it will only be attributed to a farmer, researcher, or resource manager. We hope to offer some small expression of our gratitude so have created a drawing to win one of four $100 gift cards (REI or Bass Pro Shop) You can opt in to or out of the gift card drawing at the end of the survey.
