Covid 19 Mutual Aid Lexington Kentucky
We are building a network of people who can support their neighbors through mutual aid in Lexington, Kentucky.
Big thanks to the folks in Central Ohio who are building a similar network and developed this form, which we have modified for Lexington.
WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFO - With the information provided, we are working to match needs with people who have indicated they can provide some help. If you have offered help, we will match you with a neighbor who has a need.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THIS FORM -This form has three pages, and will ask you:
1) Contact information
2) What help will you need? (You can leave blank anything that is not applicable)
3) What help can you give? (Again, you can leave blank anything that is not applicable)
WHO WE ARE - The folks coordinating this are simply a small group of community members, so please be patient with us as we work through the responses. We want to make sure you understand that at this time, this effort is intended to meet short-term needs only.
SOCIAL NEED - We are working on setting up virtual hangouts to help meet social needs expect an email about those in the coming days.
FINANCIAL NEED - If you have indicated a financial need someone will reach out via phone with next steps for how we can try to match you with someone who can help.
PRIVACY - We take your privacy very seriously. This form is not shared with anyone beyond this small group of volunteers who are connecting people. We will never share any of this info with cops, ICE, employers, the media, etc.
We are grateful for your understanding around this initiative and we hope that we can connect many neighbors with positive outcomes.
