We are looking for dedicated groups or individuals willing to share information about another country and provide at least one activity or demonstration that teaches people about that country and its people. This is a great way to promote cultural diversity in our community!
Children's Global Village will take place on Sunday, June 2nd from 11 AM. - 3 PM, with setup starting at 9 AM. Booths will be on South Clinton Street between Washington and College Streets. Booth presenters should plan an activity for approximately 300 kids ages 3-10.
1) Decorate your booth to show something unique about the country you're presenting. Example -- China had a mini "Great Wall" around their booth.
2) Summer of the Arts will provide a 10’x10’ tent, 2 tables, 4 chairs, and tablecloths for your booth. If you need additional space, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Note: we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
3) Participating kids will receive a "passport" to document their trip. The passports include brief, kid-friendly fun facts about your country.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 25, 2019.
**Space is limited, and we may not be able to accommodate everyone.
