The topic will be explored from two main perspectives. The first is innovative solutions such as Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS), which may enable SMEs to participate in tenders. Second, voluntary schemes such as the 'Food for Life Served Here' scheme, and how it may boost businesses' and public bodies'  food procurement sustainability strategies. Additionally, two professionals will share practical examples of public food procurement endeavours implemented by city and rural councils in Denmark and the UK, respectively.
