Homemade Masks for Holyoke Sign Up
The city of Holyoke is requesting donations of home-made cloth masks to distribute to local hospitals, health care facilities, as well as front-line city personnel (firefighters, police, school cafeteria workers, etc). We quickly achieved our initial goal of 200 masks, and are now seeking to get that number to 500 by the end of May 2020. The City Emergency Operations Team will handle distribution logistics, but we need as many people as possible to help make masks.

See this link for more detailed information about acceptable materials and patterns: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TSEwpyTdpgV6mBZFoze5buK6p1hXeBKs0wXfyHF6Mk0/edit?usp=sharing

We will soon be allocating funds to distribute raw fabric and other materials to mask makers. If you are interested, please indicate in the appropriate box below

We are looking for masks made from 100% cotton fabric, with ties fashioned from t-shirt strips, fabric bias tape, or elastic (no rubber bands, please).

Please fill out this form if you can sew masks or have materials on-hand (see link above) that you can donate to this effort.

If you have any questions, please email Yoni Glogower at glogowery@holyoke.org
