Apply to Pay It Forward at ISA Midwest
Apply now to the Pay-it-Forward mentoring workshop held during the ISA Midwest Conference. This event is designed for female-identifying graduate students and junior faculty and offers them a chance to network and gain insight from senior women scholars in the field. This program is sponsored by the ISA-Midwest region and is modeled after the Pay it Forward mentoring program overseen by the Committee on the Status of Women at ISA annual conventions.

This event will include a mentoring workshop and free lunch (for pre-registered Pay-it-Forward participants only) on Friday, November 21. More details on this schedule will be provided to participants as we get closer to the conference. Depending upon interest and availability, we may also include a meet-and-greet cocktail hour on Thursday, November 20.

Please fill out the short questionnaire below to apply and to help us gather some information about your research interests, questions, and professional concerns. While Pay it Forward is a limited-attendance special workshop, any junior or senior woman scholar is welcome to apply. We have been able to accept most applicants in previous years; however, if we receive more applicants than we can accommodate, preference will be given to applicants from the Midwest region and who have never participated in an ISA-Midwest PiF workshop. First-generation scholars, members of underrepresented groups, and individuals who are based outside of elite universities are especially encouraged to apply.

Deadline to apply: Tuesday, July 1
