The Teen Activist Academy Presents: Queer Liberation March: An Immersion in Direct Action. RSVP Below.

The Teen Activist Academy is a series of monthly workshops, held in-person in NYC, that are open to all teens and led by renowned frontline organizers that teach specific grassroots organizing skills. As a social justice organization rooted in Jewish culture and activist history, we believe in uniting across cultures and races in the fight for a "shenere un besere velt far ale," a better and more beautiful world for all. In our Activist Academy programs we continually tap our distinct histories and heritages as gifts to power social transformation. These workshops are free of charge, and all are welcome!

About the Queer Liberation March:
This event aims to return Pride from a corporate cop-filled parade to its roots in the liberation struggle of the Stonewall Rebellion and the grassroots, community-led marches that followed. It is organized by the Reclaim Pride Coalition, a collective of individuals reigniting the legacy of Stonewall in NYC, working to reclaim the spirit & meaning of PRIDE to better represent the LGBTQIA2S+ communities that have been silenced, marginalized, and oppressed… in America and beyond.

Contact: Amanda Miller, Manager of Youth Education and Organizing at (917) 859-6510 or amiller@circle.org.
