Storybook Intern Application
Intern Duties may include (but are not limited to):
-Acting as Assistant to the Director at all times during the production
-Organizing Student Forms (t-shirts, DVD, etc) and Scripts
-Helping to assign and keep track of costumes/shoes/accessories/props
-Working with actors and actresses - giving examples of directed blocking, how to say lines, etc.
-Being “Team Leader” for your group on Performance Day
-Coordinating assistance from other volunteers on Performance Day
-Extra rehearsal time during production week
-Intern group meetings on an as-needed basis
-Arriving early/staying late on Performance Day to help with setup/strike
-If you have a driver's license, occasional last-minute trips for emergency Duct tape
-Helping with my kiddos on occasion  :)

To apply for a Storybook Intern position:
-You must be at least 15 years old
-You must have participated in at least 3 Storybook Theatre Productions
-You must be available for the Costume Day (October 9)
-You must be available for the Performance Day (November 12 or 13 depending on the show)
-You must not have more than 2 rehearsal conflicts (which must be stated on application)

As the interns are looked up to as role models to the younger students, you must agree that your actions/speak/dress will be appropriate at all times throughout the semester. You should strive to be proactive and take the lead in assisting the production at all times during all rehearsals. You will also need to sign a code of conduct before beginning duties.
