Family Survey for Fall 2020 Learning
Your feedback will assist the ICS district team in making decisions for the different potential scenarios of what learning could look like at the start of the 2020-2021 school year. We are currently reviewing the still-developing guidelines that will be in place and looking at the three possible models:
1. Face-to-face: In-person, traditional instruction model with policies and safety procedures in place to ensure compliance with guidance aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19.
2. Blended/Hybrid: Instructional model that involves smaller group face-to-face instruction with a virtual component on alternating days or times.
3. 100% Virtual: all instruction occurs virtually/online.
We welcome your feedback.
I currently have student(s) in the following grade level(s):
What was one positive area with distance learning for your family?
What was your student(s) favorite component of distance learning?
What would you identify as an area of improvement with distance learning?
If the State of Michigan allows face-to-face schooling, we plan to:
Send our child/children to ICS in person
Continue to keep our child/children home
If you had to select an option today, check your preference:
If we need to maintain social distancing guidelines and my child/children are not able to be at school every day (Blended/Hybrid):
We would be interested in school provided daycare (if allowable by the State)
We would handle our own daycare needs
As ICS prepares for multiple scenarios of educating students in Fall of 2020, what are the most important factors that would need to be in place for your student(s)?
Access to High Speed Internet
Access to Books/Literacy Materials
Access to Social Emotional Support (i.e. counselors, therapists, social workers, etc.)
Parenting Support and Strategies with Distance Learning
How would you describe your student's overall well being?
