Neringa Women's Weekend Registration Form 2020
The program is scheduled to begin Friday, March 20th at 8pm.
Should we plan on you for dinner (approximately 6:30pm)?
What time do you plan to arrive?
The formal program is scheduled to end on Sunday, March 22nd at noon:
Are there any circumstances that will require you to leave before then, if so what time? (and we really ask that everyone stay until the end both for closure and to help with clean-up). If yes, please explain:
Other logistics, etc.:
Since we will be in the main building, we will be sharing rooms. Please list any rooming preferences here:
Any serious food allergies? (In general, we try to have a variety of food options available, but we are doing the cooking ourselves so if you have important food preferences, you may want to bring some of your own food.) Please let us know here if you are vegetarian.
This weekend is made possible by the support of everyone who participates. We hope that people will be able to contribute in ways that they can in preparation and coordination of the program which makes it financially sustainable and offers an opportunity to share in the commitment to help make this weekend continue. Please indicate how you might like to volunteer, marking your top three preferences:
Go grocery shopping before event
Arrival support (arrive by 4pm to help)
Make Friday night barley soup. Can be made at home and brought to camp. (We'll send you the recipe)
Help with meals
Help with Sat night dinner main entree (you will be reimbursed for ingredients purchased)
Oversee Hobart dishwasher process
Oversee Sunday lunch (leftovers)
Sunday clean up overseer
Recycling overseer (and take home)
I'm flexible- let me know!
Anything else you want us to know?
IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME TO WOMEN'S WEEKEND (ONLY):
How did you hear about this program and/or what is your connection to Neringa/Lietuva?
How old are you? (So that we know age span of participants)
What drew you to participate? What are you looking to get out of it?
Program Fees and Registration Policy
Kerry and Kristina successfully introduced a sliding scale approach to fees in 2012. You may or may not know, but Kerry and Kristina donate any profits from the weekend back to Neringa. Please recognize that the program as it stands is not financially sustainable without the support of Neringa. The women in 2012 decided to create a scholarship fund called Vainiku Fund (Vainikas is a flower wreath). All profit from the weekend goes into this scholarship fund to support families who wish to go to Neringa family camps, but need financial assistance.
The fee range is $130*-$275 for the weekend, and this includes programming, three night’s accommodation, meals and lots of learning, love and laughs. You do not need to pay in advance, but please bring your checkbooks and pay at the end of the program on Sunday. In honoring people’s different financial situations, we are open to a partial work exchange for some of the program fee if you would otherwise be unable to participate. *Based on the daily adult rate for family camps.
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis once your registration is complete, so do not delay in sending in your registration. TRUST IN REGISTRATION: In trying to make things simpler we thought it would be easier for everyone to just complete the registration form and to not worry about sending an advanced non-refundable deposit of $25. However, from a planning perspective, we’d like to ask that if you cancel within two weeks of the program, that you contribute the $25 donation to Neringa which is in alignment with Neringa’s non-refundable registration policies for other camps and programming. CANADIANS: Checks must be in US funds drawn on a US bank. You may submit your payment in cash on site. I understand this policy:
If you do NOT authorize Neringa, Inc. to use your pictures for adverstising, website, and other promotional purposes, (though to date we don't have any women's weekend photos on the website), let us know here
I do not authorize my picture to be used for Neringa promotional purposes
