Representatives from The International Office (IO) will provide you with an overview of Northwestern University, the IO, Evanston & Chicago, and provide additional information on various topics as you prepare to leave home and head to campus. Topics covered may include: what to pack, getting to campus from the airport, course registration and tuition payments, on-campus orientations, health services and health insurance, adjusting to US academic culture, and much more.
This session will also provide you an opportunity to meet your fellow students as well as local alumni and university representatives! Both events are tentatively planned to take place in the late-afternoon/early-evening to accommodate students and parents who may be working.
Once you have completed the registration form below, you will see a registration confirmation page. No further action is required. Please register by June 15, 2014, so that we know how many students will attend. The exact location and time for both the undergraduate/parent event and the graduate student event will be sent to registered students on or soon after the registration deadline: June 15, 2014.
