What is the Arlington Artists Academy?

With a desire to promote growth for artists of every skill level and medium preference through instruction, experience and community, the Arlington Artists Alliance has reestablished the Arlington Artists Academy (formerly at Cassatt’s on Lee Hwy.) presently in the upper level at Gallery Clarendon on the corner of Clarendon Blvd. and Fillmore Street. Instruction opportunities for all artistic abilities and ages are available. Yes, that means even those who swear they’re unable to draw a stick figure.

The teachers are practicing professionals with a deep interest in bringing the highest level of instruction to each student. In some cases, the format of the classes could be workshop, event, retreat or longer term session like six weeks. The lessons range from Drawing, Painting, Pyrography, Photography, Jewelry, Sculptural, Mixed Media to Business Development and so much more.
