MPHA Remembers Dr. Harold (Hal) Leppink
Dear Minnesota Public Health Association Community,

Dr. Harold (Hal) Leppink, our association's President in 1976, passed away peacefully at his home in Knife River, MN, on November 3, 2020. Many of you knew him from his lifetime of work in public health and medicine in our state. You can read his full obituary in the Star Tribune's Jan. 10, 2021 (and published earlier in the Duluth News Tribune) at: https://www.startribune.com/obituaries/detail/0000379193/?fullname=dr-harold-hal-leppink

MPHA is collecting reflections about his life and impact, and warmly welcomes your thoughts to share with his family in the form below. (Or email to Merry Grande, admin@mpha.net)

Our association is also working on an additional way to honor and celebrate Hal's public health service. Please stay tuned to the MPHA website (https://mpha.net/). It may be in the form of a special lectureship, award, or social gathering in the coming months.

Thank you, and be well.
