When Sunday Streets are in effect, and there is less traffic, I am more likely to feel comfortable riding a bicycle.
I like the idea of protected bike lanes, patios, benches and flower pots along Portage Avenue if it means removing a lane of car traffic.

I like the idea of traffic calming measures to encourage safe, low-speed driving on all residential streets in West Broadway

Protected bike lane on Balmoral during Ciclovia
I have seen or experienced the bike path that has been installed along Westminster, Balmoral, Granite Way every September for the last 5 years to celebrate Ciclovia. (Y/N)

Westminster, Balmoral, Granite Way corridor connecting West Broadway/Wolseley to Downtown
I would like West Broadway Community Organization to ask the City of Winnipeg for permission to put a "pop up" bike path in place using flower planters and traffic cones this summer along the Westminster, Balmoral, Granite Way corridor in to make this connection happen as soon as possible, and to have it in pace until something permanent is in place.
I would like to see a permanent dedicated bike facility using concrete and flower planters along the Westminster/Balmoral/Granite Way corridor.
