2021 BAY PADDLE Challenge
The Chesapeake Bay is our way of life. We eat from it. Recreate in it. Make a living off it. That's why it's never been more important to protect and reverse our Bay's dangerously declining health.
As paddlers, we couldn't think of a better way to give back to the Bay than to paddle its entirety, while raising awareness and money to support Oyster Recovery Partnership, who is passionately working to restore its once crystal clear waters and flourishing wildlife and Chesapeake Conservancy, who is working to turn the Bay into a designated National Park!
In lieu of a registration fee, each paddler will raise $1,000 in donations, which goes directly to oyster filtration efforts to restore our habitat, and sustain our way of life for generations to come.
Paddling the Chesapeake Bay is no small task thanks to ever-changing weather conditions that bring the most experienced paddlers to their knees (quite literally). To ensure your success, we can only accept experienced paddlers who have navigated all conditions: strong winds, side chop, waves, current and tides.
Thank you for your interest! We will circle back after we have reviewed your submission.
