(Novelty vendors are considered those that are selling lower priced or smaller items than a traditional food truck, such as ice cream, popcorn, doughnuts, or similar products, as determined by Project 412.)

1. The vendor must provide his or her own power supply.
2. Food vendors must provide a description of the vendor trailer including size and a menu below.
3. Food vendors must provide a copy of Mobile Food Unit License from the State of Minnesota.  Please send to michelle@project412mn.org.
4. Insurance requirements: It is required that all Food Vendors carry their own insurance of at least $1,000,000 for product and personal liability to your customers. Please send to michelle@project412mn.org.
5. Food vendors are required to dispose of all grease and food scraps in their own garbage cans off city premises. If garbage policy is violated, vendor will not be allowed to return to future events and will forfeit remaining fees.
6. Late food vendor arrivals are not allowed due to traffic.
7. If a food vendor runs out of food, Project 412 asks the food vendors to stay the entire length of the event (5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) to minimize truck noise concerns and safety issues.  Vendors may start setting up at 3:30pm.
8. The registration fee is non-refundable.
9. Project 412 reserves the right to make changes and/or arrangements during the event.
10. Project 412 has acquired the Consumption Permit from the City of Detroit Lakes, however, all food vendors that sell alcohol must email the Alcohol Catering permit from the State of Minnesota to michelle@project412mn.org.
