Founded in 2013, Theonista is South Africa's original kombucha company and is now a leading better-for-you beverage brand offering a wide range of kombuchas, healthy sodas, and other nonalcoholic drinks options.

Our truly artisan, small-batch approach maximizes the immune-boosting goodness in our brews and has earned us five international awards for excellence in taste.

We're female-fuelled and community-focused. Our products are handmade with real ingredients by people, not made with chemical derivatives pumped out by machines.

FREE delivery for orders over R350 (CT only / delivery fees apply for outlying areas). NB: Kombucha should ALWAYS be stored in the fridge to avoid over-fermentation/over-fizzing. Chai and craft sodas can be stored at room temp.

Immune-boosting elixirs! We'll curate a vibrant portable kombucha rainbow from what we have in stock (typically 4 flavours per case). If you absolutely adore or loathe a certain flavour, let us know in the comments section below and we’ll do our absolute best to honor your preferences! NB: Our Activated Charcoal kombucha is only available in 500ml
TRULY CRAFT SODAS
Low sugar or sugar free. No junk!  Preservative-free (a true novelty even in the world of craft soda). Made from real ingredients not chemical derivatives. Doesn't need to be stored in the fridge. DELICIOUS.
Organic Rooibos Chai Latte (500ml)
Vegan (add any milk) and super easy to use: mix milk and chai to taste and heat or pour over ice. No powders, syrups, preservatives, or artificial-anything. Also great with just hot water. Can also use in porridge, baked goods, ice cream! Dirty chai: add espresso. Spiked chai: add dark rum.

DIY KOMBUCHA - HOME BREW KIT
Everything you need to brew kombucha easily at home! Our kit includes detailed Instructions and FAQs, organic tea & raw sugar (enough for 2 brews; thereafter use tea or sugar of your choice or contact us to resupply!), a SCOBY (can be used virtually endlessly), cover cloth, reusable cloth tea bag, and a 3L jar for brewing.
