Join us for 2nd annual PTA-sponsored book club, Equity Shelf! We’ll read and discuss books that spark conversation about equity and community.
Our first read is, The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together by Heather McGhee. McGhee traveled across the country collecting stories that show how racism doesn't just harm communities of color — it holds back all of us. Her message is hopeful, grounded, and a perfect launch point for our conversations this year. Whether you’re new to these conversations or have been on this journey for a while, this is a space to learn, share, and connect with other parents.
Join us for our first meeting on 9/30 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Need a book? Please RSVP ASAP so we can get those that need books a copy.
