Flushing Emergency Food Distribution
Organizations are pooling resources to reach home bound residents in Flushing ahead of the possible Coronavirus lock down. La Jornada, the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce, Kissena Synergy, Mel for Progress, the Flushing Interfaith Council, Gutsier Living and other community organizations are mobilizing volunteers for this effort.
Food Pantry Hours and Delivery information:
Thursdays are only for folks that live in Bland Houses. Fridays are for seniors 60 and over and Saturdays are for everyone else. Pedro, however, does still want to make deliveries on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Anyone who wishes to get delivery has to call 646-355-5461 every week.
