Release
Northwest Earth Institute, an Oregon nonprofit corporation, doing business as ecochallenge.org (the “Company”) desires to use submitted media, along with the name and likeness of the individual named below (“I” or “me”) for the Company’s business (the “Work”).

Grant of Rights.
I grant the Company and its affiliates, successors, licensees, agents, and assigns (collectively, the “Permitted Parties”) permission to use my submitted writing, photo, video, or recording, (each a “Recording”) and my name, likeness, image, appearance, voice, personal biographical information, and other personal characteristics (“My Likeness”) in connection with the Work, pursuant to this Release (“Release”).

I grant the Permitted Parties the right to (i) use, modify, and otherwise exploit and distribute the Recording and My Likeness; and (ii) use and distribute the Recording, My Likeness, and all materials created by or on behalf of the Permitted Parties that incorporate the foregoing in connection with the Work (“Materials”).

I also grant the Permitted Parties a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-revocable, royalty-free license to use the Recording, My Likeness, and Materials for portfolio, promotional, and internal purposes.

No Inspection or Approval Rights.
I acknowledge that I do not have the right to inspect or approve the Recording, Materials, or how My Likeness is used.

No Obligation to Produce.
I understand that nothing contained in this Release obligates the Permitted Parties to make any use of the Recording or Materials produced or the rights granted.

Waiver and Indemnity.
I represent to Company that I will provide only true and correct information in the Recording. I am responsible for any liabilities, claims, damages, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees), arising out of or resulting from the use of the Recording and My Likeness in accordance with the terms of this Release or a breach of my representations in this Release.

Miscellaneous.
This Release is the entire understanding with respect to its subject matter between the Permitted Parties and me. This Release may not be changed except in a writing signed by both parties. The laws of the state of Oregon govern this Release. Permitted Parties may, without restriction, transfer or assign this Release in whole or in part without my prior written consent.

I am over 18 years of age and have the right to make this agreement.
