Please join us as we visit several watersheds along the northern Colorado Front Range where revegetation work was conducted following the 2013 floods. Buses will depart from Longmont at 8:15AM and plan to return by 5:30PM each day. Due to fragile site conditions and limited accessibility:-- the tour is limited to 100 attendees-- all participants must ride on buses provided (other vehicles cannot be accommodated at field sites)
There will be an opportunity to continue discussion of the work done at these sites with a panel of experts from the Emergency Watershed Protection team beginning at 6:30PM on July 10 at the Oskar Blues Oak Room in Longmont. The Central Rockies chapter of the Society for Ecological Restoration (CeRSER) will be hosting this event.-- the pub talk is free and open to the public. -- pre-registration is not required for the Pub Talk; it is included on this form only to aid our planning.-- appetizers will be provided -- a cash bar will be available
Lodging arrangements, if needed, should be made on your own.
