Sunrise is a movement to stop climate change and create millions of good jobs in the process.
We're building an army of young people to make climate change an urgent priority across America, end the corrupting influence of fossil fuel executives on our politics, and elect leaders who stand up for the health and wellbeing of all people.

The movement consists of tens of thousands of young people in over 200 local Hubs across the country. Just two years since our launch the Movement has built unprecedented popular support for the Green New Deal, ensuring it will be the prominent feature of the 2020 elections.

Sunrise Boston is considering your race for endorsement, with the help of your answers to this survey. When a question requires a text response, please answer concisely.

In addition to your answers to this survey, endorsements will be based on your records, accomplishments, and the commitment you’ve shown to fighting against fossil fuel interest and for the Green New Deal. In order to be considered for an endorsement, you must sign the following pledges:
-No Fossil Fuel Money Pledge - to reject campaign donations from fossil fuel executives and lobbyists (http://nofossilfuelmoney.org/)
-Green New Deal Pledge - to actively use your office to champion a Green New Deal in any and all ways (https://www.sunrisemovement.org/pledge)

Surveys are reviewed on a rolling basis. For the 2019 election cycle, please complete the questionnaire on this online form and sign the pledges by Friday, August 16th at 11:59PM; surveys received after the deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
