Between 4 and 6 food vendors are needed to meet the needs of festival crowds. All food vendors are reviewed by a committee. Please note that application does not guarantee a vendor spot at the event. Once approved, vendors are responsible for obtaining and providing event coordinators with a copy of their certificate of insurance and food service license from the Wicomico County Health Department. https://www.wicomicohealth.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Temporary-Food-Event-Application-2021.pdf. Food vendors that are already licensed with the Wicomico County Health Department do not need to apply for a temporary permit.
The Health Department will need to conduct inspection of your setup on the day-of. Fees will not be refundable should your setup fail inspection. Food trucks must also be inspected by the Wicomico County Fire Department if not already registered in Wicomico County.
