Please review the following link for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's regulations for approving passengers for reduced fare TAP cards:
Though IAU cannot guarantee that you will be approved for a reduced fare TAP card, we can provide you with documentation regarding your enrollment including a verification letter and an official registration form. These documents are only available as physical (hard) copies; electronic (soft) copies are not available
There is a $10 fee required for the preparation of these documents. This fee can be made through the website (
