A tournament exclusively for those attending the Barrie Chess Club. The tournament details are below.
Time control: 45 + 15
Date: 7:30pm October 8th, 15th, then biweekly starting November 5th until December 17th
Tournament style: Swiss
Price: $10 (Members pay $5)

This club tournament will take place over a number of weeks and will require commitment to come at least bi-weekly to the club to participate in your rated game against your opponent. Pairings will be posted on the website so you will know who you will be playing in advance barring any unforeseen circumstances. Recording your games is necessary due to the standard time control which will contribute to the "regular" rating associated with your CFC account.

* If you cannot make it to your game, please let me know 24 hours in advance so that I can adjust pairings. Notice within 24h will provide you with a zero point bye. Missing your game completely without notice will result in your opponent winning the game through forfeit, and a warning for a first offence. Repeated unnotified absences will disqualify you from this tournament and possibly future tournaments.
