LOTTERY SELECTION: We initially created SFA for the sole purpose of providing an opportunity for locals in Northeast NC, who may not have the same ample services and supports available as others outside the area. As such and due to the high demand for slots, our selection operates as a lottery system.
- Locals are selected 1st for the 100 slots available
- Participants outside Northeast NC who have not attended SFA will be selected 2nd
- Those who have attended and live outside of Northeastern NC will fill any remaining slots
A generated random number is assigned to each group to determine the order in which surfers are selected.
LOTTERY RESULTS: You will be notified your selection results by April 21.
DEPOSIT: If you have been selected, we ask that you confirm your slot by April 24 with a $10 deposit per surfer participant. Unfortunately, we have found without a deposit, people were registering and no-showing, resulting in missed opportunities for those who could have participated.
COMMUNICATION: Lottery results will be sent from eileen@surfingforautism.org email. Please be sure to check your junk / spam inboxes if you have not heard from us.
